The work has started. Today we cleaned out the back room with family help and covered the large windows with newspaper. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but soon we can get to the fun stuff. Guerilla Clothing coming to Oakland, launching its first micro store with OAKOLLECTIV. Guerilla Cafe's clothingline has been a stable at the North Berkeley location. The line of Graphic Tees and Track Jackets will now have its own spot at the Oakollectiv store.

Starting to have the stuff we need! Finally we found some of the Dressforms we have been looking for. And the items for our Oakollectiv store displays have been coming to us from free donations and found objects on the streets of Oakland. When the budget is limited the innovative spirits gets creative.

Working hard to make it happen! OAKOLLECTIV is a collaboration of two experienced designers, Penelope Adibe and Rachel Konte, both transplants from Europe to the US. They have come together to create a Pop Up Designer shop in the heart of downtown Oakland. Coming soon 2011.
